The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for oversight of the Front Desk area to ensure unparalleled service and exceptional experience for Grand Living residents, guests, and employees. This is to be handled in The Sterling Touch® friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner, resulting in a very high level of Resident satisfaction. Responsible for checking in all visitors and guests, positively interacting with residents and employees in person or through phone interactions, in addition to, a safe environment. This position is under the Business Office Manager in accordance with Community's standards, processes, procedures, practices and philosophy.

Essential Functions:

  • Participate in Start Sterling! line up every day.
  • Greet the Residents, guests, fellow employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Answers a multi-line phone, assisting and routing caller to appropriate person.
  • Operates office equipment including phone, copy machine, computer, fax, etc.
  • Ensures safety of the residents, employees and community.
  • Refers residents, guests, and employees to proper community resources.
  • Follow proper procedures and protocols in emergency situations.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.

 

Experience:

  • Customer service experience in the senior housing field, preferred.

 

Schedule:

  • Part-Time Hours
  • Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Nights: Sunday and Monday
